Croatian currency: KUNA 1 kuna (kn) = 100 lipa (lp)

Paper bills: 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20 and 10.
Coins: 5, 2 and 1 Kuna, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 lipa.

Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks, exchange offices, post offices, travel agencies, hotels and camps.
Exchange rates are published in newspapers, and are also pointed out in all exchange offices.
You can check the rates on-line, on the Croatian National Bank website.

Cheques can be cashed in banks.
There are 2 banks, a post office and about 15 exchange offices in Senj.

Hotel accept all major credit cards (Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Visa), as do most of the restaurants and shops.

There are 5 cash machines in Senj, by bollowing banks: Erste banka, Hrvatska poštanska banka, Privredna banka i Zgrebačka banka. All ATMs accept Eurocard/Mastercard, Diners, American Express and Visa accessing cash.
